Before you visit us for the first time, you’ll be asked to complete a simple online form that will help us to understand more about you and your health. This helps us to determine the ways that we might be able to help you ahead of your first appointment.

Step One

Case History

We will discuss your health and your reasons for visiting us.

If chiropractic isn’t suitable for you, you will be referred to your GP or to a relevant specialist.

All of your details are kept confidential.

Step Two

Physical Examination

We will give you a physical examination.

Customised for every patient, it will involve orthopaedic, neurological and physical tests.

We will also assess your posture and range of movement.

Step Three

Results

For most patients, once we have looked through your case, we will invite you back to discuss your results in more detail.

We’ll be able to provide clear information on your case, how we can help you and what treatment plan we would recommend.

If the complaint appears to need further examination, we can refer you to your GP.

Step Four

Treatment and Self Care

Included in your initial consultation is your first Chiropractic treatment with us.

After your first treatment, use of a Biofreeze gel will aid with your recovery and you’ll get ice therapy tips.

We’ll confirm your treatment plan and give you advice on home exercises as part of continuous improvement.

After your initial consultation and first treatment, you will be provided with a treatment plan. Within follow up appointments at our clinic, most patients will access:

Care for children and pregnancy

Children: Chiropractic is suitable for babies and children. We use light finger tip pressure which is gentle and causes no pain.

Pregnant Women: Growing a baby is an important job and we offer care for mums wanting to keep the aches and pains at bay caused by carrying the additional weight of a baby. We have a special pregnancy pillow that helps us treat pregnant patients.
